Senior cricketers, journalist Lashes out at PCB after the washout

The first One Day International between Pakistan and Srilanka is abounded without a bowl being bowled. All the fans are really excited to watch their stars playing.

It was very disappointing for every Cricket fan that the game is getting washed out. But many ex cricketers and experts seem very unhappy with the arrangements of PCB. Ramiz Raja says that obviously the rain is not in anyone’s control but the arrangements should be better. This is not club cricket this is International Cricket and PCB should do better arrangements. On the other hand Rawalpindi Express also seems very unhappy with the arrangements. On his YouTube channel Shoaib shows the video of the condition of the national stadium. He says that the whole stadium is filled with water which is very disappointing. The drainage system should be better than this. Rashid Latif and Younis Khan also seem unhappy with the arrangements. They feel that after the heavy rain the staff should dry the stadium as early as possible and instead of only covering the pitch PCB should cover the whole stadium. Senior journalist Waheed Khan says that PCB has no covers. The drainage system should be much more better than this. He also seems very unhappy with the decision of change in the date. He feels that if the 2nd ODI will be played on Sunday then the stadium will be jam packed but due to poor arrangements Pakistan Cricket Board changes the date. The drainage system and the ground staff should be better.

Sri Lankan commentator is also unimpressed with the system. Roshan Abeysingh shares the picture of National stadium on his Twitter and says that “One thing that is clearly different in Sri Lanka is, the entire ground would be covered during rain, though it’s not so in Karachi”.
