Ab De Villiers and Faf Du Plessis react to Dale Steyn’s retirement

South Africa

South Africa’s bestest faster Dale Steyn announced his retirement and will never bee seen in white jersey again for South Africa.

He played 93 Test matches and got 440+ wickets at the average of 22 with the strike rate of 42 the best for any fast bowler ever who has gotten 200 wickets.

Dale Steyn won many single handedly matches for South Africa alongside Ab De Villiers and Faf Du Plessis who reacted to his retirement as well.

“Too many memories to mention back and I had the privilege and front row seat of watching Dale Steyn turn into the best bowler of his time. You are the greatest, even better.” he tweeted for Dale Steyn.

Ab De Villiers and Dale Steyn started their career together and played most of the games together for South Africa.

“The greatest of his generation, stats don’t lie and Dale Steyn’s test stats is the best. I know how much test cricket means to you bud and how badly you still wanted to achieve more. Hopefully we will still see a lot of this action. GOAT.” he tweeted.

Dale Steyn played both and was the first choice for both of them as fast bowler for the team.
