Ab De Villiers offered South Africa to play World Cup

South Africa

Ab De Villier who got retirement from International cricket a year ago was desiring to play for South Africa in World Cup 2019.

He offered South Africa to announce his name in 15-Squad which was turned by South Africa cricket board as his arrival to International was not met to rules of South Africa Cricket Baord as Ab De Villiers didn’t play any single match of international circuit and even he didn’t play any domestic match in that period which came up as a reason to turned Ab De Villiers’ offer to play in World Cup, he made the decision just 24 hours before the Squad selection.

It is also suggested that if Ab De Villiers was given an other chance that might prove to be injustice with the players who played for South Africa in hard times and have been performing consistently as Dussen was biggest name in new players, he debuted against Pakistan and got three fifties in first four games which suggests his potential to be a better player for South Africa in future.

Ab De Villiers’offer didn’t meet with South Africa’s requirements so it became the reason to reject his offer to play World Cup 2019.

South Africa is struggling at the moment as players are getting set and getting out which may have suggested other reason to Ab’s comeback but it doesn’t go in same way so South Africa has no any intention to play him again.
