Pakistan will take on South Africa in Cape Town in the first T20I, Pakistan has never lost any single T20I series under Sarfaraz Ahmed’s captaincy in last two years but this time they will play without their captain due to his ban.
Pakistan has longest winning streak in T20Is and having likes of Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shoaib Malik and strong bowling lineup it is very tough to beat them even without their captain, all their players are in form and also having those they recalled Asif Ali who has just played MSL few weeks ago.
On the other hand there is South Africa who are playing in front of their home crowd, and earlier they have thrashed Pakistan on this ground too it will boost their confidence too before going to first T20I.
Asif Ali will replace Imam ul Haq as T20I specialist and Rizwan will keep the wickets in absence of Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik will lead the team, Shadab Khan and Imad Waseem will take the spin charge and Usman Shinwari and Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the fast bowling along with one of Amir or Hassan Ali.
South Africa is expecting some changes as they will rest Steyn Rabada and Amla as well which will seem to be that we may see some new faces who has just performed in MSL earlier.
Pakistan seems to be very strong team at the moment as they are No.1 team in the world and they have beaten strongest team at their will too, so beating them will be toughest task for South Africa, in last series that they have played in South Africa was comfortably won by Pakistan.
Pakistan win the toss will choose to bowl first and will probably win by 6 wickets
South Africa wins the toss will choose to bowl first and will be chasing 160-170 runs but will lose the match by 10-20 runs.
