Muhammad Abbas who has been phenomenal for Pakistan has faced shoulder injury during the second test match against New Zealand
He was in pain for long but was surviving due to the painkillers in the tests in UAE but in second test he faced injury while fielding. Shoulder injury specialist suggest at least three weeks rest but he may miss the South Africa test series as well as his shoulder injury is not a simple case when he was used in the test series just with the help of painkillers.
It will be blunder for Pakistan if he misses the South Africa tour as he has been main weapon for Pakistan in the Test, he has played in Windies, Ireland and England and performed exceptionally well in all over the world where he has played.
It seems Shaheen Shah Afridi will replace Muhammad Abbas in the decider third Test match, Shoulder Injury specialist works with him to prepare him for the South Africa tour but it seems he will be rested that time too.
